About
I hold three degrees in management and marketing applied to healthcare: a B.Sc. in Management (Public Health) from Kursk State Medical University (2017), an M.Sc. in Management from Southwest State University (2019), and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania (2023). My doctoral thesis is titled ‘Marketing of Healthcare Systems in Russia and Romania: Development Prospects and Suggestions for Improvement’. Currently, I am researching innovative business process management enabled by digital technologies in healthcare.
My research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining large-scale quantitative patient surveys with in-depth qualitative insights from clinical experts. I am particularly interested in how patient-centered strategies and digital innovations can be harnessed to overcome structural inefficiencies, mitigate personnel deficits, and address access disparities in state-dominated healthcare infrastructures.
Previously, from September 2024 to July 2025, I was a visiting researcher at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) in Budapest, supported by the Stipendium Hungaricum program. My work there involved applying advanced economic modeling and predictive statistics to estimate the burden of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and identify cost-saving workflows within hospital datasets.
In my current capacity at Southwest State University, my research focuses on innovative business process management in healthcare based on digital technologies. This research stream explores the gap between theoretical digital frameworks and their practical implementation, analyzing topics such as physician attitudes towards digital tools and the phenomenon of “Digital Fatigue” among healthcare workers.
My core research interests include health system efficiency and financial modeling, patient experience and centeredness, digital transformation in healthcare, and health equity. My work includes one Q1 and two Q2 peer-reviewed journal articles, two Scopus-indexed book chapters, two Scopus-indexed conference proceedings, and multiple other publications and conference presentations. I regularly present my findings at international conferences. My recent work (May 2026) received the Diploma of the 2nd Degree at the V.V. Novozhilov International Competition of Scientific Works in St. Petersburg (Digital Economy and Industry 4.0/5.0) for research on digital maturity in healthcare. I am committed to producing research that advances academic understanding and provides actionable insights for policymakers and healthcare administrators.
I am always open to discussing new research collaborations and opportunities!
